Evgeni Malkin Fansite - Malkin Gets 5 Points Against Buffalo Video

Geno was simply on fire tonight as the Penguins beat the Sabres 8 to 3 at Pittsburgh tonight. Evgeni Malkin scored three goals for his seventh career hat-tricks. Geno also added two assists in the game for a season total of 15 goals, 21 assists and 36 points. This puts him in the top 5 in the league for points, tied at 36 with a Lupul, Spezza and Henrik Sedin. However, Malkin has played fewer games than any of these guys.

Malkin is only 3 points away from league points leaders Kessel and Giroux (39 points). Steven Stamkos has 37 points. We have feeling Geno will be taking first spot in not too long.
